GREETINGS FROM THE ROAD,
Hauling ass westward, somewhere in North Dakota.
Roughly 30 hours from Minneapolis to Portland OR w a few short stops along the way.
We’ll stop for night somewhere about half way.
Lots of reading, lots of music, some Twin Peaks.
All and all, not a bad day.
The tour is going great. Really strong shows every night.
Hope For Agoldensummer has blown away every audience (and keep us amazed too).
The Downtown Rumblers is top notch, bringing new ideas and sounds to the aural table each and every ni
ght. Love the way the show is morphing from night to night and adapting to the different rooms and towns. Have been thrilled with the crowd response and show of support from everyone out there.
The tour will continue thursday (and friday) in Portland OR at The Star Theatre. Might have a surprise up our sleeves. Can’t wait to spend a couple of days in that beautiful city. Then we have Vancouver followed by a couple of nights in Seattle. Damn, I love the Northwest.
Thanks to all of you who have bought the album, come out to shows, or basically helped spread the word. I’m very happy with the initial response and look forward to working to build on that in the coming months.
